Will you try and sell me something?

What I sell is my time and advice. I don’t sell investments or insurance. I only make recommendations and you always have the final decision on what you do or don’t implement.

How much does it cost?

The initial 30 minute session is free. We’ll take a look at your overall situation and then determine a price based on your particular situation and needs. The full payment is due at the following meeting.

The typical outline is a 2 hour session going over your situation and recommendations. Then there will be 4 months of follow up via telephone and/or email and meetings if necessary. A one hour wrap-up session is also included to make sure you are comfortable moving forward. This is just the typical outline however. I will customize a plan to fit your needs. This is not a one size fits all program.

What are your qualifications to help me?

My wife and I took the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace course through our church in 2005. We got ourselves debt free except for our home over the next couple of years and have continued to live without the use of debt.

In November of 2009, I took the Financial Counseling course put on at the headquarters of Lampo which is Dave Ramsey’s organization in Tennessee. This course provided me with real world examples of coaching as well as providing me with tools for coaching including access to Dave Ramsey’s counselor and an online community of other counselors.

Between the real world experience of planning our own financial future, and the quality training provided by Dave Ramsey’s organization along with their ongoing support, I feel more than qualified to help anyone on the road to Financial Peace.

Do I have to be in Shelbyville to work with you?

No. With all of the technology available today, I can work with people all over the U.S. or even around the world. We can connect via conference call, Skype, or web conference. We can definitely meet in person as well if that is your preference.

Who will you work with?

I will work with married couples, singles, soon to be married couples, college students, and high school students. I do require that both spouses be involved when meeting with married or soon to be married couples however. You can only be successful in this if both parties support the process.
