Tomorrow represents a fairly significant midterm election in many people’s eyes. The makeup of Congress could have a significant impact on recent and future legislation regarding healthcare and taxes.
Many states also are having significant elections. Who will be the next governor? What will be the makeup of your local and state governing bodies?
All of these things could have a significant impact on how much tax you pay and how much it costs you to purchase goods. The truth though is that YOU are in control of your own finances. Yes, you may have to make adjustments based on the results of these changes, but ultimately, you make the decisions on what you spend your money on and how you make your income.
If you are living on a budget, saving for the future and have the right types of insurance in place, you are the one that ultimately determines your own financial destiny. There is a freedom in that and I hope you are in a position to experience that.
